💎 How to Keep Your Jewelry Gleaming

Our jewelry is tarnish-resistant, but no piece is completely immune to wear. Daily care goes a long way.

We recommend:

  • Avoid wearing your jewelry while showering, swimming, or exercising.

  • Keep it away from lotions, oils, perfumes, hairspray, and cleaning agents.

  • Remove your jewelry before sleeping.

  • Gently wipe your piece with a soft, lint-free cloth after each wear to remove skin oils and product buildup.

✨ Cleaning Instructions

Regular gentle cleaning will keep your piece fresh.

To clean:

  1. Mix lukewarm water with a mild dish soap.

  2. Soak your jewelry for 1–2 minutes.

  3. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush to clean around the settings and stones.

  4. Rinse thoroughly, then pat dry with a soft, non-abrasive cloth.

Do not use: silver polish, alcohol, acetone, or jewelry dips on plated Moissanite pieces — they can strip the finish or dull your stones.

🔒 Storing Your Jewelry

Your jewelry deserves its own space.

  • Store it in the Symi Jewel pouch or box provided with your order.

  • Keep pieces separate to prevent tangling or scratching.

  • Avoid storing in high-humidity environments (like bathrooms).

  • Travel with a lined jewelry case to prevent movement and impact.

🌟 Moissanite Stone Care

Moissanite is one of the hardest gemstones on Earth (9.25 on the Mohs scale). While it won’t cloud or lose brilliance over time, residue can dull its sparkle.

Refresh your stones:

  • Clean gently with a soft brush and mild soap.

  • Rinse with warm water and pat dry — it’ll shine like new.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Many of our pieces are not solid gold, but high-quality 925 sterling silver with tarnish-resistant or gold-plated finishes. Tarnishing is natural with wear, but easily preventable with proper care.

  • Avoid ultrasonic cleaners and abrasive cloths, especially for plated pieces.

  • Never expose your jewelry to bleach, chlorine, or harsh cleaning chemicals.
